About us

Music for the Spirit began from the desire of members of the Six Nations of the Grand River Anglican Parish to use the creative arts to give opportunities for young people to express their identity and learn musical skills.

Through group music learning, singing and playing we nurture the young person's self-esteem and self-image, acceptance for self and others, and build a sense of respect for each community member.

Support for the music camp has grown to include the Dreamcatcher Fund, the Six Nations Elected Council, the Anglican Healing Foundation, and the Eastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.

Music for the Spirit is a community project run by members of Six Nations of the Grand River Territory.  For more information you may send us an email through our Contact Us form
